JOHN DONGUY
Assistant
John has been with me since the very beginning; a french man, fluent in English has been an integral part of Ecurie Gavin Hernon. John's father was a trainer he grew up getting up early before school to ride out. He is a fantastic horseman and a top class rider. Before joining our team he worked for Nicolas Clement for 8 years he also spent time in America, working for Christophe Clement and is highly spoken of by renowned horseman Nicolas Blondeau where he gained invaluable experience with difficult horses.
BERTRAND CLERMONT (CAPITAINE)
Traveling Head Lad
Capitaine is renowned throughout Chantilly as one of the best in the business in the role of travelling head lad. He has worked for some of the biggest names in the industry including Andre Fabre, Luca Cumani and Criquette Head- where he was entrusted with caring for some of the most valuable horses in the business, including the dual arc heroine, Treve. He is an extremely capable and dedicated member of the team. Our owners can relax on raceday knowing that the horses are in the care of one of the best.

Dr Christophe Gard
We work with the dedicated veterinary team of Dr Christophe Gard who's clinic is situated just 2 miles away from our yard in Chantilly and is on hand should a problem ever arise.
